We are planning more diversity for 2009. We will concentrate the festival over a shorter period of time. The artists who are part of the artist in residence program will be the instigators of much of our creative efforts.

We will continue to celebrate the combination of various cultures concentrating our efforts of creativity and cross collaboration between PADIES and the artists in residents. We will explore the culture of Food, Plants, of the Arts (music, film, literature, photography, sculpture, painting, installations) within various cultures.

We will incorporate into exhibitions whether they be music, film or art, gastronomic events to be shared.

This year we aim to host conferences around the concept of sustainable development, permerculture and sound farming and building practices.

Contributions and suggestions are welcome.
