CULTURES&CULTURES festival 2008 - calendar

In keeping with the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, and the progress of the FACESCAPES project, this year the Padiès Culture & Cultures festival featured China, Australasia and France - the intercultural/cultural dialogue between these countries.

RECITALS :
16 / 20 / 23 / 25 / 26 / 27 - July 2008

We are happy to announce that Jeffrey Black, baritone from Australia, Natalia Morozova, pianist from Russia, Catrin Johnsson, mezzo soprano from Sweden, Rachel Fuller, pianist from New Zealand will be performing again at this year's festival - they have composed their programmes with this year's theme in mind. In addition we introduce Jiang Nan from China, who plays the ghuzeng, and Armelle Orieux, mezzo soprano from France with Jeanne-Marie Savourat, flutist also from France who will perform a programme of contemporary music entitled Orient véritable / Orient imaginaire. And...we now have another concert on the 27th!

WORKSHOPS :
2008 sees the introduction of workshops to the Padiès Culture festival. We are pleased to announce two exciting programmes.
